Not long after the December 2010 death of Professor Imogene Bolls, who was a member of Wittenberg's faculty for 36 years and mentor to countless Wittenberg students, Dr. Nathan Bolls contacted the advancement office about creating a scholarship in his wife's memory.
It was his wish to commemorate her love for creative writing and poetry and her years of dedicated teaching service at Wittenberg. By establishing the Imogene Lamb Bolls Creative Writing Endowed Scholarship, Dr. Bolls joined the growing list of Wittenberg alumni, faculty and staff who have established an endowed fund to honor a loved one.
You, too, can make a difference in the lives of future generations of students and help reduce the amount of debt many of our students must incur by making a gift of any size to a specific existing scholarship, to the unrestricted scholarship fund or by creating a new scholarshipyour own legacywith a commitment of $25,000 or more.
